Shining Out in November

Following on from last month things got even busier in November for Shock. We produced two large events for The Beacon Fellowship, an organisation that promotes charitable giving.
The first was their annual awards ceremony, held in the beautiful Plaisterer's Hall at London Wall. 500 invited guests enjoyed the awards ceremony which was compered by BBC newsreader Martyn Lewis. We projected 10 seperate films about the winners of each category and interviews. The whole event ran seamlessly and was a great success.

The second event the next day was held at the Chicago Business School and was a forum discussing ways of raising funds and giving to charity. As well as recording a keynote presentation, Shock recorded 8 simultaneous breakout meetings.

Other clients for November included; PriceWaterhouseCoopers, Royal College of Pyschiatrists, The London Jewish Community Centre, YAD Arts, FZY, Oakington Manor School, Tall Stories Theatre Company.

LimmudFest Sways to the Beats!

Participants were this week recovering from an eclectic mix of music, learning and camping that was LimmudFest '06. Shock provided AV support for the event, highlights of which included the incredible Sway Machinery, Mor Karbasi, the Oi Va Voi duo and GhettoPlotz. The event gets better each year and we're looking forward to next year (and slightly more sun!)

Limmudfest Approaching

Here at Shock AV we're gearing up for this year's
Limmudfest conference which takes place on the
August bank holiday weekend near Southwold in
Suffolk. The festival is a celebration of Jewish Arts
and culture with an educational and 'green' feel
to it, with many of the expected 500 participants
camping. Shock are provided sound and lighting
for 3 stages, as well as 2 cinema rooms and various
other AV equipment. We'll be camping as well so
fingers crossed the weather holds!
